I definitely agree this should be heavily looked into, having a full ssh shell access to a server when ssh ports aren't open would be IMMENSELY ideal as dealing with a gui remotely can be slow and clunky.

I'm sure for Windows heads this would be ideal also for power shell commands.

I didn't realise Linux didn't have personal tools, I've always used shared toolbox as it keeps the files on the server but that definitely sounds like a good feature to have.
