PLEASE allow us to hide "controlled by" banner

I understand wanting to be approved by informing end users on remote access. I’m sure this helped get the installer download to be trusted. It great, it installs fine on Windows without a complaint. Still an untrusted publisher on Mac.

Notifier balloon: none of the remote tools I have used puts a notification up, but OK. It can be disabled.

“Controlled by” banner: All of the remote tools agree with this practice. And I was OK as long as I can get it hidden SO I CAN DO MY WORK. It is so upsetting that I have to move this banner around so I can perform my IT duties on my 300 devices I support.

To be clear, I need the banner both not impeding my vision of the session but that it not cause a dead zone for mouse clicks, as that is often a grab point for a window. I prefer hiding the banner, as this may impede the guest complete view of the session from their end.

Again I remind you, NONE of the other remote access solutions in the market disallow hiding the banner.

If you are worried about scammers, you could offer the customization if your customer can offer proof that they are a legitimate user. It’s unfortunate that the rest of u pay this price, because, I assume, you have had scammers misusing your product.

I completely agree. The fact that these changes are pushed straight into production is creating unnecessary headaches for end users, MSPs, and IT teams like ours. We’ve received countless tickets from users asking about the new banner or complaining, “what’s this now?” It’s incredibly frustrating that the banner originally had an “exit” option, which was then removed. Now, every time we remote into an end user’s system or a server to troubleshoot, we’re forced to waste time dragging the banner out of the way just to access browser tabs.

It seems like common sense to provide a simple “X” button on the banner itself to dismiss the banner quickly vs. having the click the "gear" then click exit, or at least give us the option to reposition it somewhere less intrusive, such as the middle-far right of the screen. Instead, this banner has become a daily time sink across our entire workflow.

As a side note: Long-standing issues like broken copy-and-paste from Excel and other applications remain unresolved. My support ticket on this problem has been open for over 1.5 years with no fix in sight. It feels like the focus has shifted entirely toward releasing new features instead of addressing core usability and stability problems.
