Allow Custom Relay Address

Call the Ninja 8 years ago updated by anonymous 8 years ago 2

When building unattended installation packages, ScreenConnect will use the address in the URL bar as the relay for the client. Problem is, that won't be accurate if somebody is logging in from localhost or through a VPN. When creating a package, there should be an option on that screen or in web.config to set a custom relay URL.

Answer

You can use the web.config setting RelayAddressableUri to hard-code a specific address for the relay service. A bit more info here: https://help.screenconnect.com/Defining_a_hostname_for_unattended_access_sessions
