Set cursor focus IN the Command Prompt and PowerShell windows when in Backstage mode

Such a trifling, but recurring annoyance.

Open Backstage to issue a command, open the Command Prompt, type the command - oh, nothing (grrrr)

Click into the window and retype.

Same thing for PowerShell.

Could you please set the cursor's focus inside the newly opened window?
