Add "Uptime" or "Time since last boot" to General Info tab

Karl Brown 9 years ago updated by Caitlin M Barnes (Product Manager) 5 years ago 9

It would be nice to know at a glance how long it has been since a system was last rebooted.

Hey,

We added system uptime, along with a few other additional details, to the general tab. This should become available within the next two releases (6.6-6.7).

I can one-up this request: An indicator right in the list, so we can see a screenful at a time. Maybe even the client's "online" green bar.

Green = Online, rebooted within the week*

Orange = Online, rebooted 1-2 weeks.

Red = Online, rebooted 2+ weeks.

* Allow for setting those three ranges within the .config files as some places might need clients rebooted more or less often.

Hi All,

I wanted to pass along an update :) Unfortunately, this request didn't make it in the release I first anticipated, but we're working progressively to get it rolled into 7.0

Here is a preview of what's to come.

Kristen, will it be possible to search workstations based on uptime?  Or at least create a group where "Uptime>7d"?

I'd like to be able to send a message to those people asking them to reboot at their convenience.

Yes, you'll be able to filter by say, last boot time > $25DAYSAGO

This is now in product, and the session group filter reference doc has been updated.
