Require consent option on Macs

I talked to the live support and they informed me that it is currently impossible for a Mac user to require consent before a technician is allowed to connect to their computer. I have CEO's of companies who use Mac's and don't want technicians to be able to connect without their consent. Can we please get this option added?

Another feature I’d like to see on the macOS guest client, but is currently only available on the Windows, is the ability to specify the proxy server.

Generally speaking, better alignment between the two clients would be an outcome appreciated by many.

Hi Igreitzer,

The option to require consent on a Mac already exists in the product.

Hi Caitlin,

Unchecking Host Session without Consent generates a popup which stays onscreen for the predefined time window.

After the time window, or if there is no interactive connection to the device at the time the request is made, it then connects anyway. On a PC, ticking the Require Consent box overrides that time window, the countdown is removed, and it simply will not consent without permission being explicitly granted.Users can also force end a session by toggling the require consent should they need to.

https://docs.connectwise.com/ScreenConnect_Documentation/Get_started/Knowledge_base/Enable_a_guest_to_require_consent even says Note: This feature is only available for Windows at this time.

Which is a bit of a major miss!
