Add a video player to stream extended auditing videos instead of downloading

I wonder if using something like Plex pointing to where the sessions are recorded could be used here, as it can transcode on the fly.
If so, could CWC base something on Plex?
It is very cumbersome to review session recordings for long lasting sessions. For instance if I have a tech that was connected to a machine for several hours and I need to review his activities, I need to download each session recording separately, waiting for the server to transcode the video each time before I can download the video and move on to the next recording. If it were possible to view the recordings via a stream in the web portal, and have the server transcode the video on the fly, that would be a much better experience.
