Prompt agent when using older client

I have discovered that several of my agent were generations back on their downloaded client, they would just urlLaunch and not realize they were using an older version. I had one today who was still on 5.4 while we are on 6.0.


Maybe there should be a prompt for agents when they urlLaunch a session that if they are not using the latest app to download the latest.

the client I'm referring to is what the agent uses to launch a session for support, meetings, etc. Not the guest side. From a quick skim the article you provided it is about access sessions and automatically upgrading those.

Not sure if you're aware of this but in 5.6 we made a change to display a notification to hosts who connect to a session with an older client version, that a new client version is available. This message will display once for each session, and will not display again until the next server upgrade.


It seems this isn't doing it for you. We could look into a way of showing the notification more than once if that is preferred.
