Maintain search criteria while switching groups

I consider this a bug because it really hampers production and quick use of the product when you have thousands of machines.

If I'm in "All Machines" and have an active search for "foo", when I switch to another group, my active search for "foo" is cleared and it shows all machines in the new group I switched to.

I would like it to retain my search criteria while switching between groups.
