As a legacy premium customer, I'm extremely disappointed to find that I don't have access to this premium extension.

Hi Graeme,

ConnectWise View is being built as a separate product from Control.  Once we have a stand-alone licensing and pricing model, we'll make it available for Legacy On-Premise customers. We'll share more information later in 2019.

Mike,

What time in 2019 will this be covered?

but its not a separate product . we was the founders of this product . and your cloud people are getting it FREE as a extension .

as far as i know the on premise i paid for was supposed to include everything .

very unprofessional to keep bleeding us out .

Hi Mike, your reply above seems to suggest that users of on-premise ConnectWise Control will have to pay extra for this functionality, this would be extremely disappointing.  Surely as this is built into the hosted option it should be rolled out to all premium customers... Legacy or not.

its the American way !  keep taken more and more , that's why we have problems with our gov .

I just got a nice marketing email inviting me to try ConnectWise View, which is a feature I would likely use and gladly pay for.  Unfortunately for me we run on-premises (and have zero interest in a cloud-based solution).  We've been with this product since the early ScreenConnect (ver 2/3) days... while I love most of the enhancements that have been made it's discouraging to see the strong push for cloud.

Is there a time frame for having View with the on Premise server?

Its about time this got sorted out, ConnectWise don't seem to care about legacy customers.

Is on Premise going to have an option to use this?

We are on on-prem and using it?

#LukeJ : We are also on-prem. However when I click Administration - Extensions - Browse Extension Marketplace - locate "

ConnectWise View Integration" -> There is no option to install this. It reads "You need a premium license to use this extension" vs for other extensions there is the "Install" button.

We are on version 20.1.27036.7360

#LukeJ : Under your "Installed Extensions", do you have "ConnectWise View Integration" installed?

Mid 2021... still no ability for on-prem users to have View? We've been users supporting this product for nearly 7 years now and still can't have this ability because we aren't cloud users... What are we missing here? Is there not a way for this to work with on-prem servers doing the stream data transfer? Does it have to go through your cloud servers to work? Why hasn't this been enabled for on-prem hosts who presumably have some of the largest installs?

2022.... where are we at on this?

+3

Agreed, is there any updates on this?

+3

Could we please get an update from someone at Connectwise? They haven't responded to this in over 3 years...

Update please.

Lets get an update on this !

I've been a ScreenConnect on prem customer since 2010 through my employer and since 2013 with my own IT company. It's now 138 days till 2024 and still nothing with this 5 year old request and many others. I rarely ask for improvements due to my limited needs but the small improvements i have requested when SC was owned by ET were supported by other SC customers, changes were approved and delivered within weeks. Since ConnectWise purchased SC my 3 request backed by multiple customers were never delivered. Pretty sad and to see this You need a premium license to use this extension for On Prem customers is a slap in the face

ScreenConnect on-prem is seemingly now a neglected product, this is so disappointing after such a huge price hike!

5 years+ since this request was logged.
