Self contained linux installer with minimum dependencies

We are trying to use screenconnect on linux iot SBC devices. The java runtime adds about 470 MB to the install and we found that the Sudo dpkg -i ConnectWiseControl.ClientSetup.deb fails and we then have to do a sudo apt-get install -f to get it fixed
It would be great if there is a self contained linux install package with minimal dependencies
changing the window size at remote linux devices
right now I can not change the window size of the linux device that I am connected.
the device is using ubuntu 20.04.01.
Is this a bug or a future feature?
