Where the heck is the 25.4 on-prem installer?

In an unprecedented move you guys have demanded we all update our ScreenConnect servers by 10:00 pm EST tomorrow and here we are still with no installer with which to do that - the chances of any of us in multiple time zone scenarios getting all access clients online in the next 36 hours are already slim enough, and every minute that ticks by without the installer eats into this ridiculously short time scale.

What's the schedule please? I'm trying to rearrange resources and schedules to stand a chance of achieving this but it's impossible without knowing when we can start.

New cloud build is starting to roll out and we're hoping the on-prem build will be available very soon!

Here are the release notes for all the changes made:  https://docs.connectwise.com/ScreenConnect_Documentation/ScreenConnect_release_notes/ScreenConnect_2025.4_Release_notes

Please review those carefully to prepare for some major changes. When we can breathe for a moment we're going to tackle the UX of them all and make them as frictionless as we can.

The really bad guys here are the certification authorities, along with Google, who are in desperate need of government regulation. Beyond that, the philosophy that the world can be turned on a dime is a bankrupt philosophy, and even more bankrupt is the idea that the world can be shut down on a dime. Perhaps, too, the whole certification infrastructure is lacking somehow when the only solution is the draconian impossibility that is being imposed upon ScreenConnect users at this point.

I am resigned to the almost certain result that we're going to lose at least a third and perhaps half of our client connections after this debacle, so I'm not even going to lose sleep over that. They simply won't be updated in time no matter how hard I try-- especially when many of them are shut off. We'll either need to re-establish them with a fresh support session followed by a reinstall as needed, some may be fixed via an RDP session, or we'll just have to go on-site and reinstall that way if we can't talk someone through establishing a support session.

Good luck everyone...

Thanks to all who've grafted over this the past few days, while we're worried and a bit frustrated, I think most of us understand the pressure you've all been under.

I maybe wrong so apologies if I give wrong information but in admin section of on-prem, advanced, web config, you can enable "Automatically Update Agent Version" which we only discovered a year ago being disabled, not entirely sure if these days if its enabled by default. Obviously enabling it means all unattended will automatically upgrade when they connect. We've installed 25.4 and already 1/4 of our endpoints are upgraded. Might be worth checking if yours is disabled and changing to enable.

Connectwise has that turned on with 25.4. We've had it off for years, but was on as soon as we installed 25.4, clients began updating. We like to do our own testing before updating our fleet, but in this case, they're right to force this setting on for all users.

I was led to believe that all our clients would stop connecting and updating if they hadn't updated before the code signing ertificate was revoked. We have a separate group in ScreenConnect for "Downlevel Clients." Since the revocation, I have noticed that connecting and updating has continued uninterrupted in this category. Are certificate revocations not as catastrophic as we were told?
