Doesn't work on Arch - no jnlp

Since the update ScreenConnect doesn't seem to work on Arch any longer and the Iced Tea (jnlp) file is not available as a profile option. This now renders it useless for us?

Confirmed with Sean this is set to release in 25.8.  We should be releasing it in the next week or so.  The release is already in Canary for the cloud and should move to preview /stable for cloud and on prem in a week or so.

Please call us back about that renewal, jkin :)

Has there been any movement on this?

Other than them reaching out to me for subscription renewal (lol), no.

I was able to get it working for now by copying the files from ~/.local/share/applications/ on a working arch machine to the one not working, once copied across was able to get it working by looking at contents of the .desktop file and registering using xdg-mime default connectwisecontrol-xxxxxxxxxx.desktop x-scheme-handler/sc-xxxxxxxxxxx where xxxxxxxxxx is the id.

This work is being done in our current sprint, I would anticipate a release in 4-6 weeks will include the fix.

In the meantime we're being pestered for subscription renewal for a product we have been having issues with for months.

We’re currently working on restoring support for the JNLP method on Linux. I’ll update this thread as soon as we have a fixed version available.

In the meantime, as a potential workaround, please try installing the .sh file while we continue to address the JNLP issue.

Not on arch, but same problem, I don't have the .jnlp file anymore.

@Sean White, I see in my download history that the link is the same for the .deb than the .jlnp, can we just change the link to get the .jnlp the time that you restore support for the .jnlp / webstart?

So at the moment we can't use it. Kind of a problem. We dont run windows Pcs. We are literally having to use rustdesk to get connect to clients - kind of silly when we pay for this

I also stated in the very first post I can't run the .sh file on Arch Linux?
