window.external.sendCredentials not working - alternative?

We've been using RMM+ password extention to be able to use the username/passwords from Automate in Screenconnect.
This has been working well for some time.

Lately this has ceased to function. I've narrowed it down to this line:
window.external.sendCredentials("",username,password);

I suspect this uses the same functionality as 'manage credentials'. There have been (bug)fixes for this in recent versions (25.5 & 25.6).

The documentation website and support of Screenconnect is not very forthcoming with information on this topic. 

Does anyone have more information on this functionality or could help me get in touch with the right people from screenconnect?

In the meantime, we have tested a work around for Passportal, hopefully it works for RMM+ too -- you can "send clipboard keystrokes" after you've copied the password for your integration in the helper and that does work to login.

I've adjusted the HTML code to sent the password as clipboard keystrokes. This is a workaround for us.

We liked the other implementation better. It would also fill in the domain\username and even detect if the fields are there.

Not sure where else I'm going to find this information. They gave this community forum as a suggestion.

We have a bug registered on this and are working it in the current sprint, it'll be a few weeks minimum before a permanent fix is rolled out.

There was a bug fix for the Helper that should have fixed this with RMM+ and other similar extensions in 25.6. If you're already on 25.6, please open a case with support and reply here with the ticket number so I can get someone to investigate. Thanks!
