I have been asked to install ScreenConnect.ClientSetup.msi to connect to a remote machine. What does this utility make available on my machine? Does it allow connections back to the computer? Is it part of the ConnectWise RMM? I understand it can be generated with a profiler, is there anyway I can see what settings have been assigned to the msi? Want to protect/check against unattended access.

Its a legitimate source. But I want to sanity check as I know its powerful (hence my reluctance to install it without checking first).
We have to connect to a computer on a remote site to access software and their MSP have made this exe available for us to install. I want to make sure that they (the MSP) cant connect back to us, or change it at a later date if its not enabled at the moment.
Ive looked and it doesnt seem to install ScreenConnect service and is not running in Task Manager. It just seems to be the NinjaRMM "ncinstaller-x64" version but want to independently check somehow.

Who's asking you to install it? Yes, it has powerful remote-control capabilities. Don't install if you don't trust the source.
