Change or modify machine/device assignments of a user
Is there a way within the screen connect environment to modify the machine/device assignments of users?
Or
Do I have to delete the user and start over?
Not using any integrations in screen connect, not using specified roles, very basic setup, just need to change what machines some users access remotely.
You do not need to delete the user and start over. Depending on how your basic setup is restricting access, you can modify permissions directly through the user's account properties or session filters. If you are controlling access via user permissions or custom properties in your basic setup, navigate to the Admin page, select Access (or Users), click on the specific user account, and modify their assigned roles, custom properties, or filter mapping directly. Alternatively, if assignments are tied to custom session custom properties or connection strings, you can edit those fields directly from the host page or session details without deleting the user profile.
