This sounds similar, but I'm not seeing any prompt for single app or entire screen.  We have ScreenConnect on our Android devices that run our kitchen display software.  The restaurant staff had an issue with overlapping tickets over the weekend.  When we connect to the devices it makes ScreenConnect the active application.  This is disruptive to business because the staff can no longer see the tickets at all until we switch the active application back to the kitchen display application.  It's not ideal, but we can do that while connected.  Upon disconnection, the same thing happens and it makes ScreenConnect the active application.  At this point the technician cannot switch the active application back to the kitchen software since they are obviously no longer connected.

This is very disruptive to staff because now they have to go find a mouse to hook up to the display in the kitchen and switch the active application back to the kitchen software so they can see their food orders.  ScreenConnect app needs to not make itself the active application upon technician connection and disconnection.
