Where the heck is the 25.4 on-prem installer?

In an unprecedented move you guys have demanded we all update our ScreenConnect servers by 10:00 pm EST tomorrow and here we are still with no installer with which to do that - the chances of any of us in multiple time zone scenarios getting all access clients online in the next 36 hours are already slim enough, and every minute that ticks by without the installer eats into this ridiculously short time scale.

What's the schedule please? I'm trying to rearrange resources and schedules to stand a chance of achieving this but it's impossible without knowing when we can start.

New cloud build is starting to roll out and we're hoping the on-prem build will be available very soon!

Here are the release notes for all the changes made:  https://docs.connectwise.com/ScreenConnect_Documentation/ScreenConnect_release_notes/ScreenConnect_2025.4_Release_notes

Please review those carefully to prepare for some major changes. When we can breathe for a moment we're going to tackle the UX of them all and make them as frictionless as we can.

We're in the same boat.  How are we expected to update clients in such a short time span?  We have clients that come online sometimes only once every month; will those clients be orphaned, and not able to connect?

Actually, installation is recommended by 10pm EST tonight (24hrs prior to the revoking of the cert) - and the software is still not available by (almost) 2pm.

Agree with prior comments. This is LESS than ideal by a long shot for the reasons mentioned and many more.

I need to add to this as well. As the clock ticks down, and I've done my best to prepare our clients for what we need to get this updated, a simple truth remains:

The smaller the window I have, the more systems are going to miss the update target. Which causes stress and frustration, which also causes the chances of working another xx hours outside of our regular schedule (I say another, because we Automate-using shops have already done one set of xx hours), which causes additional stress and frustration, and also has a direct effect on Connectwise's reputation.

We're an hour and ten minutes from the Connectwise Town Hall and we haven't seen this update yet. If the update had been out at 9:00AM this morning, it would be tight, there would be a little grumbling, but such is life. But now it's almost 2:00PM Eastern. We had a 48-hour window when we were first notified (7:43PM Eastern on Sunday via my e-mail), and it's not a 48-hour window anymore.

That's not including the clients I have that have their own ScreenConnect clouds separate from our on-prem one, who I'm going to need to assist ensuring their own ScreenConnect agents (not just ours) are reinstalled as well. This is -not- good, and Connectwise I'm sure knows it, but the biggest questions are: What did Connectwise know, when did they know it, and what will be done to avoid this kind of issue again, so I don't have to find out how to update 2,800 agents in under 36 hours?

Another note: I just received this e-mail from Connectwise reminding me of the partner town hall. At 2:02PM Eastern Daylight Time.

The e-mail says the meeting is at 2:00PM Central Daylight time (which would be 3:00PM Eastern Daylight Time, where I am, and is what my Outlook ICS file downloaded from Connectwise says). But the above says the meeting begins in two hours. I literally asked my colleague to make sure that being up late updating Automate last night hadn't melted my brain to make sure I was right.

I really hope the meeting is in one hour, not two. And if someone can see where I am not getting something right here, please let me know.

I have the same (2hrs) in my latest reminder.

But the time is 2pm CDT (3PM EST)

I'll be going by that.

But the message before that (received today, Jun09) said 2 days.

I think it was an attempt at correcting!

Doing these kinds of "timelines" are typically VERY prone to these types of errors.

This is quickly turning into a major fumble. Are we going to see 25.4 released today??

Can anyone who attended update us what's going on?

re. which day it is - the email does clearly say all agents updated by by June 10 at 10:00 EST so I think my original timeline stands, not today - tomorrow. Not that this is a huge help since there's still no update.

Yes, it's tomorrow at 10pm EST. And the new version is still in QA, should be out "soon"

The page in the link above is being updated with all information available including answers to questions asked during the town hall.
