We support hundreds of devices that provide AV feeds for funerals. We need to be able to periodically connect to these devices without any form of banner appearing as this will be broadcast to the families and ruin the funerals.
Can we have the option to remove this as it is affecting our ability to support these services.

This is getting more and more ridiculous.
You are not
listening to customers, and are very obviously scared of your own
product and its certificate signing. Someone external has reviewed your
code, and something is obviously very wrong under the hood.
The
branding removal, and the inability to hide annoying overlays for our
customers (whom we are contracted with to provide quiet, seamless
support to) is just smoke and mirrors. Who exactly are you protecting?
We
are getting constant asks from our customer base about the (awful)
ScreenConnect logo (green), as well as complaints of interruption.
A
vendor that no longer listens is a failing vendor. We have removed all
other ConnectWise products now and moved to alternatives. 15+ years
with these products, and you have finally made me decide that this was
the last renewal.

that state my remote control software indicates the provider (my
company) and not a company no one knows. The questions have been
flowing in about what the new icon is and why is it there.
Also, I have several clients whose IT people need to be able to monitor what users are doing and can no longer do so stealthily. This ability is also in the contractual agreement.
Souls in hell want ice water; pretty sure its not going to happen... Connectwise seems to have lost their way... Their paying customers have been abandoned have lost control over their software; and all the 100's of different options that have been onesidedly taken away and changed back to original content... They lost me as a client about a month and a half ago...
I use SC for displays in Remembrance Rooms in chapels - unacceptable having "Your computer is being controlled . . " across the top. I recall this "feature" was introduced some years ago, and then a switch was added to allow disable.

Adding my input here as well. This is frequently a similar use case where we use SC for AV feeds for conferences and other devices.
I'm struggling to understand who, in their right mind, thought this forced banner was a good idea. Seriously, what product manager wakes up one morning and says, "Let's break years of established workflows, invalidate customer contracts, disrupt sensitive environments like funerals, chapels, live events, and AV feeds, and then remove the option to turn it off"?
This isn't a feature. It's an imposed liability.
ConnectWise, your customers have spent years building processes, trust, and even legal agreements around how your remote tools behave. You didn't just change a UI element, you ripped out a critical control without warning, justification, or a path forward. And for what? Because someone decided that ignoring actual user needs was somehow the safest move?
If this isn't resolved within the next month, I'm done. I'm already evaluating OSS alternatives because at least those projects don't arbitrarily cripple their own tools and call it an improvement. It's astonishing watching a company so thoroughly ignore the people who literally pay to keep it alive.
Who exactly are you protecting with this forced banner? Because it's definitely not your customers.
Fix this, or you're going to keep watching long-time users walk out the door. I'm prepared to be one of them.
