Why remove the HIDE option from the connection banner ?
Why did you remove the option to hide the connection banner after connect ?
It does not make the product more secure. Initially the connection banner is shown.
Hiding the connection bar is not something you can do in a flash, it takes time so the customer does see the banner before that.
The option is also not permanent.
If we help customers that are on a Remote Desktop session or something else that shows a box in the same place (a tab in a browser for example) the connection banner is very annoying. You can move it to another place but often also there it is very annoying.
Please explain, it slowly starts looking like you don't trust your own product anymore.
All other similar tools have the same options to move banners nearly invisible and to brand them.

This comment is for Sean White.
Since the previous thread was closed, I’m continuing the discussion here.
You mentioned that in the next release, the banner will be hidden for the host and that it will no longer interfere with browser tabs by being transparent to mouse interactions. However, if the banner is still visible to the guest, it will continue to block their tabs — meaning our clients will have to manually move it just to click on certain browser elements.
How do you plan to address this? As I’ve mentioned before (and will emphasize again), there needs to be a customization option that allows us to choose where the banner is positioned. For example, other vendors place their banners on the right side of the screen, where it doesn’t obstruct anything — the only element typically located there is the scroll bar.
I’m not sure if you had a chance to see our Output Stream, but I wanted to let you know that we’ve reverted the change for version 25.7 due to some inconsistencies in behavior. Our priority is to ensure a seamless experience before release, so we’re targeting completion for 25.8 or shortly thereafter.
Regarding a few of the points you raised:
Banner visibility and tab blocking: We’re actively exploring solutions to reduce the impact of the banner on guest interactions. One important note is that the dialog is currently moveable. In a future update, we plan to introduce a visual cue to make this more apparent, along with a Dismiss button that will allow guests to hide the banner if they choose.
Default placement customization: At this time, we haven’t planned for customization of the banner’s default position. That said, we’re open to considering it if it becomes a clear need.
Thanks again for your feedback—it’s helping us shape a better experience.
