Anybody else getting random disconnects after the latest ScreenConnect 26.1.18.9566 update? I connect to machines, then the screenconnect window just randomly disappears having to then re-connect again.

they fixed the drag and drop problem and crashed the copy paste function.
especially if you copy paste a folder it crashes the file transfer or the RemoteScreen.
for now we use drag and drop to copy files/folder .. hope it will get fixed.

I recommend updating to 26.1.20.9571 if possible, it resolves several noted issues with earlier 26.1 releases.

Note that if you are on-prem and this hasn't happened already, it may break your certificate signing setup, requiring that you remove and re-add it.

How are you upgrading to 26.1.20.9571? In our upgrade instance dropdown (we are cloud not on-prem), we only see 26.1.18.9566 stable (currently installed) and 26.1.22.9573 canary. Is there some setting we have to adjust to see other versions to install?

We are an on-premise client, and that is the latest version available for download.

It sounds like that version may not be available for you, I would probably open up a ticket and ask Connectwise support for clarity.

The copy/paste crashing seems to be fixed, however, there is a 1-3 second lag when actually doing the copy and paste operation. It's not like instant. It should be instant like I was before.

Yeah, you guys still have issues with this.

1. When you copy and paste, there is a 1-3 seconds lag. It's like the ScreenConnect window freezes then it unfreezes and the data magically shows up.

2. When I try to copy and paste data from Notepad on my personal computer into a ScreenConnect session to a Active Directory new user object field, it locks up and says “not responding”.

Send it back to the Dev Team to resolve the above issues.

Updated:

1. When you copy and paste, there is a 1-3 seconds lag. It's like the ScreenConnect window freezes then it unfreezes and then the data shows up. If you press CTRL+C multiple times it's easy to repro.

2. When I try to copy and paste data from Notepad on my personal computer into a ScreenConnect session to a Active Directory new user object field, it locks up and says “not responding”.

3. Copy and paste doesn't work after the session has been open for a day or longer. I even closed the session and re-opened it and it still won't copy and paste properly.

Copy and paste issues are still NOT resolved.

The issues seem to stem from Windows Server 2019. Copy and paste does seem to still be working on Windows 11 Pro machines. I will keep updating as I keep testing.

Disregard last comment. Same issues with Windows 11 Pro.
