Why remove the HIDE option from the connection banner ?

Why did you remove the option to hide the connection banner after connect ?

It does not make the product more secure. Initially the connection banner is shown.

Hiding the connection bar is not something you can do in a flash, it takes time so the customer does see the banner before that.

The option is also not permanent.

If we help customers that are on a Remote Desktop session or something else that shows a box in the same place (a tab in a browser for example) the connection banner is very annoying. You can move it to another place but often also there it is very annoying.

Please explain, it slowly starts looking like you don't trust your own product anymore.

All other similar tools have the same options to move banners nearly invisible and to brand them.

Sean White, i renew my question.

Now that WE the controllers of the session no longer can see the connection banner, can the option to hide not be brought back.

Now the only one that can see it and USE it is the customer, there could be no harm in that.

Or do you think i'm wrong ?

Can we please get the option to enable the banner?

It is crucial to us for other technicians to be able to easily view when another is present on a Host machine.

Wasted an hour trying to figure out what was wrong with Chrome. Was the now invisible banner blocking me from changing tabs.  It either needs to be visible to the tech so it can be moved out of the way or not block mouse clicks. Why would you hid it from the person using it? When will this be fixed?

We still have this issue as well on certain machines. Can't click Browser Tabs because the banner is blocking mouse clicks. We have to manually drag the browser below the hidden banner then everything works fine. There still seems to be an issue with the banner being really transparent to the engineer controlling the remote machine.
